After helping his side Mumbai Indians lift the IPL trophy for the third time, Krunal Pandya has said that he owes his share of success to his younger brother Hardik Pandya.
The Baroda all-rounders
largely settled in the role of the finishers for the team this season. On the
night of the finals, it was Krunal
Pandya's resistance that saw Mumbai rise from 79/7 to a decent 129 runs on the board. Speaking to the iplt20.com, the
brothers were ecstatic after their superlative effort. Hardik noted that he is
very proud of his elder brother.

is very proud of his elder brother.
"I am just proud of him. He has delivered champion
performances time and again in this tournament and I am just glad to be sharing
this moment with my brother. He has worked very hard for this moment and has
put in the hard yards over the last couple of years. Now he is here and he
truly deserves it. Champion stuff," said Hardik Pandya on Krunal.
"I give Hardik a lot of credit for my success. Also,
our parents have always supported us till date irrespective of our performances
and results. We would also like to thank our coach back home who has helped us
day in and day out. Credit to the entire Mumbai Indians support staff and team
management who have made us feel like family. Special mention for Kiran More
sir, whose academy we have been playing for since childhood," Krunal
returned the favor on Hardik.
"Just one word comes to my mind - Amazing. The
way the boys pulled off this victory was absolutely brilliant. Rising Pune
Supergiant had the game in their hands, but still our boys stuck to the task
and sealed it," Hardik said on
their IPL win.
"It is a dream come true for me. To play an IPL final and contribute to a winning cause is a proud feeling. A big game, on a big night and to end up lifting the trophy is a huge moment for me," which was followed by Krunal.
