Royal Challengers Bangalore's middle-order batsman Travis Head has acknowledged that this has been the worst season of the Indian Premier League (IPL) for their team. RCB suffered their 10th loss of the season against KKR on Sunday out of the 13 matches they have played so far. Â
During a media interaction, Head said, "Result-wise, this is probably the worst season. It is a disappointing result. Nothing has changed off the field since last season. We still enjoy as a unit. But it hasn't gelled well on the field. It happens in T20 cricket. You can't get back the momentum back once things go bad."

Head termed KKR's Chris Lynn as the most powerful batsman in the ongoing season of IPL. He said, "He has a reputation of being a big hitter in Big Bash League too. In IPL, he's done the same. He is an unbelievable hitter of the ball. They took advantage of the new ball."
The southpaw also asserted that KKR took advantage of the new hardball and took the game away from them in the first six overs. He said, "They just took advantage of the new hardball. They had it in the first six. They put pressure back on us."
KKR has finally sealed their place into the playoffs after that comprehensive victory over RCB and they will play next match against Kings XI Punjab on Tuesday. Â
