Cricket Association of Bengal (CAB) president Avishek Dalmiya rubbished the reports suggesting T20I matches between India and West Indies will be played behind closed doors. He said they have not received any information on the subject from the BCCI.
Team India is slated to play West Indies in three ODIs and three T20Is. The 50-over games will begin from 6th February, followed by the second and third match on 9th and 11th February, with all matches to be played in Ahmedabad's Narendra Modi Stadium.
After that both the teams will move to the Eden Gardens in Kolkata, to lock horns in the three-match T20I series, which will be played from 16th to 20th February. While the ODI series is scheduled to be played behind closed doors, the 20-over games could see 75% of the crowd in the stadium if BCCI allows.

However, various reports suggested that the T20I series between India and West Indies is also likely to be played with no crowd in the Eden Gardens.
Reacting to the reports, CAB president Avishek Dalmiya said that they have not received any information from the BCCI and they would refrain from issuing any reaction on the matter.
“There are reports in the media that spectators would not be allowed during the three T-20 International Matches between India and West Indies to be held at Eden Gardens, Kolkata, later this month.
"However, we have not received any written intimation or information regarding the same from the BCCI till now. Therefore, we would like to refrain from issuing any reaction in the matter at present," Avishek Dalmiya said.
