The Sri Lanka Cricket (SLC) has named a 20-member squad for the white-ball series against India which will comprise three ODIs and three T20Is with all matches to be played in January 2023.
The T20I series is slated to get underway on January 3 in Mumbai. Pune and Rajkot will host the second and third games on January 5 and January 7, respectively.
The ODI series is slated to get underway on January 10 in Guwahati. Kolkata and Thiruvananthapuram will host the second and third games on January 12 and January 15, respectively.
The Sri Lanka squad sees Dasun Shanaka as captain, but Kusal Mendis will be his deputy in ODIs and Wanindu Hasaranga will be the vice-captain in T20Is. Bhanuka Rajapaksa and Nuwan Thushara have been named only in T20Is, while Jeffrey Vandersay and Nuwanidu Fernando have been picked only for ODIs.
Apart from these, the likes of Pathum Nissanka, Avishka Fernando, Charith Asalanka, Dhananjaya de Silva, Maheesh Theekshana, Chamika Karunaratne and Lahiru Kumara were also named in the squad.
