Indian pacer Mohammed Siraj imitated Ravindra Jadeja’s sword celebration after the all-rounder reached a much-deserved ton in the ongoing first Test against Sri Lanka in Mohali.

Ravindra Jadeja displayed a magnificent batting display in India’s first innings, as he remained unbeaten on 175 runs and helped his side post a mammoth total of 574/8d in the first innings.

Jadeja came to bat at No.7 when the hosts lost Shreyas Iyer for 27 runs with India 228/5. The southpaw joined hands with Rishabh Pant, who scored 96 runs, and together stitched 104 runs partnership. After the dismissal of the wicketkeeper batter, the all-rounder kept battling hard and showed great determination and patience.

He took calculated risks and brought up his second Test century. As he reached the landmark, he unfurled his famous sword celebration. Jadeja’s knock-made head coach Rahul Dravid and other India players applaud his heroics from the dressing room.

Pacer Mohammed Siraj, who was standing in the dugout, was also delighted with the southpaw’s knock and hilariously mimicked his sword celebration with a water bottle in his hand.
