Virat Kohli, one of the best cricketers of his generation, is on the verge of accomplishing a major milestone in his illustrious career. When he takes the field against Sri Lanka on Friday in Mohali, the 33-year-old will become the 12th Indian cricketer to play 100 Test matches.
While cricket fans and pundits are looking forward to watch former India captain Virat Kohli play his 100th Test match, Kohli took some time off for a good cause. Aside from his heroics on the field, his love for animals has won the hearts of millions of people for a long time.
Kohli spent time with Kunal Khanna, CEO of Vivaldis Animal Health, and Awaaz team members ahead of the historic game.

Kohli interacted with the team, spoke with Kunal about future plans and expansion, and officially opened the ambulance. He also met Juile, a furry friend who was admitted to the Rehab Centre and is now being cared for by the Awaaz team.
On his official social media accounts, he posted a video of his interaction. “Another day catching up with the #Vivaldis and @AwaazStray team and officially inaugurating the ambulance that helps the strays of our city,” tweeted Kohli.
Last year, the Virat Kohli Foundation opened a Rehab and Trauma centre as well as an ambulance for stray animals with the help of Vivaldis.
