India cricketer R Ashwin left the Twitterati in splits with his comical call for a DRS review after being bowled during the first innings of the ongoing second Test against New Zealand. Ashwin was quick to go for a review as soon as the umpire raised his finger before finding out he was bowled by the Kiwi spinner Ajaz Patel.
It was the 72nd over of India's innings when Ajaz went through Ashwin's defense and clipped the off-stump. Surprised with the umpire's decision to give him out, Ashwin went for the DRS and turned back to see the bails disturbed.

Ajaz was at his best in the first innings and he picked up all the 10 wickets of Team India. He became the third bowler to pick a 10-wicket-haul as he finished with 10/119 from 47.5 overs, and joined England off-spinner Jim Laker and India leg-spinner Anil Kumble.
India were all out for 325 runs in the first innings with Mayank Agarwal ending as the top scorer with 150 runs. In reply, the Indian bowlers bundled out New Zealand on 62 runs on Day 2, but India captain Virat Kohli refused to enforce the follow-on.
