Former India batter Wasim Jaffer has responded to New Zealand cricketer Jimmy Neesham's jibe at Team India after DRS went against them in the ongoing Kanpur Test. While Neesham mentioned the DRS (Decision Review System), Jaffer cheekily reminded him of umpire Kumar Dharmasena.

The Kiwi opener Tom Latham got three decisions against him overturned using the DRS on Day 2 of the first Test. That's when Neesham took to Twitter to take a dig at the Indian team.

"If Tommy Latham gets a ton here India might go back to refusing to use DRS at home," Neesham tweeted. India used to be against DRS in the initial days of its introduction to cricket, due to a lack of trust.

Responding to Neesham, Jaffer used Sri Lankan umpire Dharmasena's reference to give a hilarious reply. He wrote that they always liked DRS as a person, referring to Dharmasena.

Dharmasena was among the umpires during the 2019 World Cup final which New Zealand lost, and also during the recently concluded T20 World Cup 2021 final. New Zealand lost the final against Australia this time.

"We like DRS Jimmy, both the system and the human #INDvsNZ," tweeted Jaffer in his response.
