IND v NZ 2021: PICS- Virat Kohli sweats it out in nets at Brabourne Stadium to prepare for second Test

Kohli has been doing his drills in Mumbai where the second Test vs NZ will be played from Dec 3rd.

Virat Kohli seen with Sanjay Bangar during his nets in Mumbai | GettyIndia Test captain Virat Kohli has been sweating it out in the Brabourne Stadium in Mumbai for the past 2-3 days as he prepares for his return into whites in the second Test of the ongoing series against New Zealand.

Kohli, who led India in the T20 World Cup 2021, was rested from the T20I series against the Black Caps and from the first Test as well which went underway on November 25 with Ajinkya Rahane leading the team in his absence.

Kohli will return to take the reins in the second Test in Mumbai which begins from December 3rd and he has been preparing hard for the encounter in the series which kick-started the new cycle of the World Test Championship 2021-23.  

He was seen batting in the nets under the guidance of former India batting coach Sanjay Bangar, who was recently named the head coach of Kohli’s IPL franchise, the Royal Challengers Bangalore for the upcoming IPL 2022 edition.
