India won the second T20I against New Zealand to take an unassailable 2-0 lead in the three-match series on Friday (November 19). Opting to field first, India managed to restrict New Zealand to a below-par score of 153/6 in 20 overs.
Harshal Patel, who made his debut, picked up 2 for 25, while R Ashwin (1/19), Akshar Patel (1/26), Bhuvneshwar Kumar (1/39), and Deepak Chahar (1/42) bagged one wicket each. India chased down the target in 17.2 overs with 7 wickets in hand.
