India pacer Deepak Chahar didn't have a good time on the field against New Zealand in the first T20I. He conceded 42 runs in 4 overs and picked up only one wicket at his home venue, Jaipur.

But Chahar still bagged an award after the match and very surprisingly, it was his stare at Martin Guptill which won him ₹1 lakh. The incident happened in the 18th over of New Zealand's innings when Chahar dismissed Guptill and stared at him for a send-off in payback.

A ball before getting Guptill out, the Kiwi batter had smashed Chahar for a six and he held his pose while looking straight at the Indian fast bowler.

Reacting to Chahar getting ACC 'Kamaal ka Moment' award, India's veteran cricketer Harbhajan Singh, who is known for his aggression, jokingly said he would have made a lot of money if they had this award in his time.

Guptill was dismissed on 70 runs off 42 deliveries and he was the top run-scorer for his team in the match, as the Kiwis posted 164/6 in their 20 overs. In reply, India chased down the target in the last over with 5 wickets in hand.

For India, Suraykumar Yadav scored 62 runs and got the Player of the Match award for his contribution. Captain Rohit Sharma also scored 48 runs in 36 deliveries before getting out to Trent Boult.
