IND v NZ 2021: WATCH - Malti Chahar's fan moment as she cheers for brother Deepak Chahar

Actress Malti Chahar had a fan moment during India's first T20I against New Zealand on Wednesday (November 17). She was present in the stadium and got a glimpse of her brother, Deepak Chahar from the stands.

Malti even shouted Deepak's name to get the attention of the Indian pacer, who was fielding near the boundary ropes.

Posting the video on her official Twitter account, the actress wrote, "My fan moment today???? @deepak_chahar9 Always wanted to do this???? #proud #sister #bleedblue #indvsnz #siblings".

Deepak had a bad day with the ball at his home venue, Jaipur. He conceded 42 runs in 4 overs and picked up only one wicket. It was Martin Guptill who got out in the 18th over while attempting another big hit, having smashed Deepak for a six on the first delivery.

Guptill was dismissed on 70 runs off 42 deliveries and he was the top runs scorer for his team in the match, as the Kiwis posted 164/6 in their 20 overs. In reply, India chased down the target in the last over with 5 wickets in hand.

For India, Suraykumar Yadav scored 62 runs and got the Player of the Match award for his contribution. Captain Rohit Sharma also scored 48 runs in 36 deliveries before getting out to Trent Boult.
