IPL franchise Punjab Kings (PBKS) brutally trolled Shaheen Afridi after Arshdeep Singh removed Matthew Wade to successfully defend 10 runs in the final over in the fifth and final T20I against Australia in Bengaluru.

Arshdeep held his nerve and delivered his best in the final over to guide Team India to a thrilling 6-run win over Australia in the fifth and final T20I match played in Bengaluru on December 3.

Notably, Australia needed only 10 runs in the last over to win the match, but Arshdeep conceded only three runs to help the Men in Blue clinch the series with a 4-1 margin on Sunday.

The Punjab fast bowler didn't have a good day before that final over, as he conceded 37 runs in his first three overs. But then he bowled a brilliant last over and proved his critics wrong.

Arshdeep started it with a bouncer, which should have been wide, but the umpires thought otherwise. Then, the 24-year-old bowler bowled a full-length ball after bowling a dot ball and ensured India's victory by taking the wicket of Australia’s stand-in captain Matthew Wade.

Well, after Team India’s win, the PBKS took to X to share a clip of Arshdeep dismissing Matthew Wade and indirectly took a dig at Shaheen Afridi.

Notably, Shaheen had failed to defend 22 runs in the last six balls in the 2021 T20 World Cup semifinal between Pakistan and Australia in the UAE. Wade has smashed three consecutive sixes off Shaheen to take Australia to the final.

Following the over, PBKS, the franchise Arshdeep represents in IPL, shared a video of Wade's dismissal and captioned it: “Not against this left-arm pacer.”
