The BCCI and official kit makers of the Indian team MPL Sports, on September 18, unveiled the new Team India jersey which takes the color scheme back to light blue with dark colors on the shoulder and a pattern on the side.
The Indian team will be donning this jersey in the upcoming T20I series against Australia and South Africa and then in the T20 World Cup 2022 as well.
"To every cricket fan out there, this one's for you. Presenting the all new T20 Jersey - One Blue Jersey," the BCCI tweeted.
All eyes are on this T20I series against Australia and another home series against South Africa, starting from September 28, consisting of three ODIs and three T20Is. These will serve as quality match practice for Men in Blue for ICC T20 World Cup 2022, which will go on from October 16 to November 13 this year.
Apart from the launch ceremony of the new design T20 jersey, multiple Indian cricketers posed in the new uniform on the eve of the first T20I against Australia which will be played in Mohali on September 20.
This included Rishabh Pant, Akshar Patel, Deepak Chahar, Deepak Hooda, and Yuzvendra Chahal.
