Team India is currently gearing up for the three-match T20I series against Australia, starting on Tuesday, September 20, in Mohali. The players arrived in Chandigarh on Saturday and hit the nets on Sunday to kickstart their preparations for an important series ahead of the T20 World Cup 2022.
India has picked almost the same team for the series as the T20 World Cup squad, with the exception of Arshdeep Singh who was asked to report at the National Cricket Academy for conditioning work.
All eyes will be on the likes of KL Rahul, Virat Kohli, Rishabh Pant and others as India is still searching for their best batting order. Captain Rohit Sharma has stated that Kohli will serve as the backup opener for himself and Rahul. There have been calls for Kohli to open the batting with Rohit, but the management is set to back Rahul for the job.
While at the PCA Stadium for their first practice session on Sunday, Kohli and all-rounder Hardik Pandya decided to have some fun as they recorded a reel which they later shared on their respective Instagram handles.
The duo seemed to really enjoy shooting for the reel which has already gone viral on the social media platform.
