The official kit designer MPL sports and the BCCI unveiled a new look and new design jersey for the Indian team ahead of the upcoming home T20I series against Australia and South Africa and the T20 World Cup 2022 which will be played in Australia.
MPL sports replaced Nike as the official kit manufacturer for Team India in 2020, and their first designed kit was a throwback to the 1992 World Cup design which India wore in Australia on the 2020-21 tour in limited overs and then against England at home and Sri Lanka on away series before the T20 World Cup 2021 in UAE.
Team India donned the current Indian jersey which has the voice pattern of many Indian fans chanting India, India on it ahead of the 2021 T20 World Cup.
And now ahead of the 2022 edition of the mega ICC T20 event, the MPL sports has come up with another design jersey which also brings back the lighter shade of blue color.
