Ravi Shastri has been given another opportunity to coach the Indian men's team. He was reappointed by the three-member Cricket Advisory Committee headed by former India captain Kapil Dev.
The announcement was made on Friday in Mumbai. Shastri's contract with the team will continue till the 2021 ICC T20 World Cup.
Shastri had started serving the team as cricket manager (Bangladesh tour in 2007). He then returned as team director (2014-2016), and now after being coach of Team India since 2017, his contract is renewed till 2021.
