Parthiv Patel is now more popular in Bangalore than Gujarat. The wicketkeeper-batsman has carved out his own identity in the team and provided Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) precious contributions as batsman and as a wicket-keeper.
RCB beat the top-placed Chennai Super Kings (CSK) by one run in a last-ball thriller. The mood in the RCB camp was obviously delightful and many of the players were celebrating their win.
The official twitter handle of the RCB team posted a funny video where man-of-the-moment and Man of the Match, Parthiv Patel and coach Gary Kirsten were giving an interview and leggie Yuzvendra Chahal interrupted them with his victory dance.
The caption of the tweet read, “#GoodTimes at the RCB camp! Super Challenger @parthiv9, gaffer @Gary_Kirsten & champ @yuzi_chahal share a light moment post game. Let's keep it this way until the end of the season, Challengers! #GameByGame #NeverBackDown #PlayBold.”

Even after beating CSK, RCB are still placed 8th in the points table and CSK are on top. The win only delays CSK from reaching the playoffs.
CSK are next scheduled to play Sunrisers Hyderabad in Chennai on 23 April (Tuesday) and RCB are up against Kings XI Punjab in Bengaluru on 24 April (Wednesday).
