The 29-year-old could only pick one wicket in Sri Lanka's second innings. He removed Angelo Mathews, who was caught in slips by Ajinkya Rahane

Though, the wicket was no less than a gift as it was taken on an illegal delivery. West Indian umpire Joel Wilson had failed to spot that Jadeja had overstepped.

Mathews’ wicket was important as he had scored a fabulous hundred in the first innings to help Sri Lanka put up a strong fight against the Indian bowling attack.

However, India still couldn't make the most of that wicket and the game ended in a draw.

Jadeja, the second best Test bowler as well as all-rounder (ICC Rankings) has scored eight fifties in Test cricket and also has three triple centuries in domestic cricket.

The 29-year-old Jadeja has so far played 34 Tests, 136 ODIs and 40 T20Is for India.
