The first global T20 tournament was held in 2018 in Canada under the banner of Cricket Canada and proved to be a success with many big names taking part in the tournament. The main objective of the tournament was to entice the Canadian crowds back to cricket and it was successful.
The participation of stars such as Steve Smith, David Warner, Chris Gayle, Dwayne Bravo, and David Miller ensured global viewership too and the crowd (and the viewers alike) was treated to some mouthwatering clashes. It was also a showcase of talents for the West Indies, as they fielded two teams by the name of West Indies and CWI B.
Given the wonderful batting performances that took place in the tournament, Team COC shortlists the Top three highest partnerships by runs in the 2018 Global T20 Canada.
