The Global Canada T20 tournament 2018 was won by Vancouver KnightsThe first global T20 tournament was held in 2018 in Canada under the banner of Cricket Canada and proved to be a success with many big names taking part in the tournament. The main objective of the tournament was to entice the Canadian crowds back to cricket and it was successful.

The participation of stars such as Steve Smith, David Warner, Chris Gayle, Dwayne Bravo, and David Miller ensured global viewership too and the crowd (and the viewers alike) was treated to some mouthwatering clashes. It was also a showcase of talents for the West Indies, as they fielded two teams by the name of West Indies and CWI B.

Given the wonderful batting performances that took place in the tournament, Team COC shortlists the top three batsmen with most sixes in the 2018 Global T20 Canada.

He hit 17 fours and 19 sixes in his tournament, with 10 of those sixes coming in his century against Vancouver Knights in the first qualifier of the tournament.

Andre Russell made 185 runs in 8 matches for Knights at a strike rate of 217.64 and hit 10 fours and 20 sixes in the tournament. His highest score was 54* which came against Toronto Nationals in the first match of the tournament and he helped Knights put 227/4 on board.

Lendl Simmons made 321 runs in 8 matches with a strike rate of 140.78 and highest score of 66. He hit 29 fours and 23 sixes in the tournament. His highest score of 66 came against Edmonton Royals in the 13th match of the tournament and his innings helped Hawks put 203/5 on board.
