India B and South Africa A took part in the Quadrangular series at Bengaluru. In an earlier match, India A had defeated Australia A by five wickets.

India B captain Manish Pandey won the toss and chose to field first. South Africa A managed to put up 231 runs in 47.3 overs. Senuran Muthusamy top-scored with 55 and Farhaan Behardien supported with 43 runs.

For India B, M Prasidh Krishna picked 4/49 and S Gopal chipped in with 3/42. Siddharth Kaul, Navdeep Saini, and Deepak Hooda picked a wicket each.

In the chase, India B’s target was reduced to 220 in 45 overs and they lost Mayank Agarwal (7) and Deepak Hooda (4) early to Dane Paterson. But Shubman Gill hit 42 off 46 balls to steady the ship with Manish Pandey before becoming a victim of Tabraiz Shamsi.

Kedar Jadhav took hung around for 23 runs before Magala bowled him. However, Manish Pandey stood as a rock, as India inched towards the victory.

Manish Pandey (95*; 9 fours and 1 six) and Shreyas Gopal ensured that India B didn’t lose any more wickets and the team won the match by 30 runs via D/L method.
