5. BHAGWATH CHANDRASHEKHAR (1964-1979)

Probably the holder of the tag of the greatest leg spinner India produced along with Anil Kumble; Bhagwath Chandrashekhar overcame a major physical disability to realize his dream of playing cricket. He picked up 242 wickets in 58 Tests for India with 16 wicket hauls to his name in a chequered career.
