Indian cricketers Sanju Samson and Varun Chakaravarthy were seen playing a pen fight on the team bus while traveling to Manchester ahead of the second T20I against England.
A pen fight is a classic schoolyard game. Two players place two ballpoint pens side-by-side on a flat table or seat. They take turns using their fingers to flick their pen so that it strikes or flips over the opponent’s pen. The goal is to successfully land on top of the other pen to win a point.
Samson secured a quick and decisive victory in this pen fight. After Chakaravarthy accidentally knocked his own pen off the table, Samson capitalized on the open board. He landed a perfect, powerful flick to push Chakaravarthy's pen off and win the game.
The lighthearted moment gave fans a nostalgic look at how the players unwind between high-stakes international matches.

The opening match of the five-T20I series at Chester-le-Street ended in a frustrating no-result. India posted a strong 189/7, led by Shreyas Iyer's 68 and Abhishek Sharma's explosive 59, but relentless rain prevented England from starting their run chase.
The second T20I is slated to take place at Old Trafford, Manchester on Saturday (July 4).
