Indian wicketkeeper batter Rishabh Pant on Monday (18th July) reacted to Yuvraj Singh’s praise for him after his knock in the series decider against England in Manchester. 

In his short career so far, Pant has done many special things for India. It’s fair to his that his era has started and is the most dependable middle-order batter for India these days. 

One of his special innings, which was also his best ODI innings, came recently in the third game against England. With series on the line, India needed something special from someone and it was none other than Pant who stood up and took his team past the finishing line.

Chasing 260 to win, the visitors were reduced to 72/4 and not many would’ve thought that they would win the game easily. But all thanks to Pant, who made a mockery of English bowlers and registered his maiden ODI ton. 

He scored unbeaten 125 runs with the help of 16 fours, 6 of which came in the last 7 balls of the match, and 2 sixes. Pant also stitched 133 runs partnership with Hardik Pandya, who scored 71 runs as India completed a comfortable 5-wicket win. 

As Rishabh Pant won the match for India, Yuvraj opened up about the 45 minutes he had with Pant and lauded him for his innings.
