Former Indian cricketer Zaheer Khan feels that Team India won’t change much to their playing XI for the second T20I against England. He believes that only Jasprit Bumrah will make the cut into the side in place of Arshdeep Singh.

India’s dominating performance in the first T20I in Southampton has only increased their headache for the second T20I. With the likes of Virat Kohli, Rishabh Pant, Ravindra Jadeja, Shreyas Iyer and Jasprit Bumrah all set to return to the team, there are many speculations about what XI will the visitors field in the second game.

Being the senior players, it is expected that Kohli, Pant, Jadeja and Bumrah will walk straight into the XI. But with the performances that Deepak Hooda, Suryakumar Yadav, Dinesh Karthik and Akshar Patel have put up, it’ll be a massive toss-up between the seniors and youngsters.

Speaking to Cricbuzz, Zaheer Khan said that although it’ll be hard for Team India to figure out things in terms of selection, but they won’t make too many changes in the XI.

"It is hard to sit and figure out which direction they are going to go in terms of selection. You have seen India win the first match of the series and then not make any changes for the rest of the series. I don't think they will make any changes. If at all, one change at most, we have to wait and see what it would be," he said.

Zaheer feels that India will make only one change as Bumrah will replace Arshdeep, who is not in the squad for the second and third T20I.

"I don't see the possibility of a change and you don't want to lose momentum. Since Arshdeep Singh is not there for the second T20I, Jasprit Bumrah will take that spot,"

India defeated England by massive 50 runs in the first T20I. The second game is slated to take on Saturday (8th July). The Rohit-led side would be hoping to seal the series in the next game and then test their bench strength in the third game, which will be played on Sunday (9th July).
