The rescheduled fifth Test between England and India is just a few days away from now. The visitors are leaving no stone unturned in their preparation for the one-off Test and are putting hard yards in the nets.
India is currently leading the series 2-1 and many are backing them to create the history. There’s no doubt that eyes would be on Virat Kohli and he surely will have to step up for his side, especially with Rohit Sharma’s availability in doubt and KL Rahul not being there.
Kohli looked in great touch and had a decent outing in both the innings in a warm-up fixture against Leicestershire as he scored 33 runs in the first essay and followed it up with 67 in the second dig.
After a warm-up game in Leicester, Team India shifted their base to Edgbaston, where they had a quality net session. On Wednesday (29th June) after practice, Kohli and Shubman Gill were seen walking towards the hotel and their conversation was captured by the ground’s admin.
In a video posted on Edgbaston’s official Twitter account, Kohli and Gill can be seen walking and talking with the admin following them. The former Indian skipper stops in the middle and hilariously reacts by saying “What’s up.”
“Walking with the king. My life is complete,” Edgbaston captioned the video.
In another tweet, the admin posted the picture of Kohli looking at him/her and said: “Love someone as much as Kohli loves Admin.”
