Team India pacers were at their best as they bowled England out for 120 runs on the final day of the recently concluded second Test match at Lord’s and won the match by 151 runs. Mohammed Siraj led this Indian bowling attack with 4/32 in the second innings and ended the match by picking Anderson’s wicket.

While Siraj earned praises from all across the globe for his fantastic overseas performances, former India batsman VVS Laxman took to social media and shared a very old photo when he met Siraj as a kid.

ENG v IND 2021: "If you're stupid, you don't deserve to win" Sir Geoffrey Boycott blasts England

Met him for the first time at frmr Hyderabad great Abdul Azeem’s residence. And I feel so proud to see the rapid progress #Siraj has already made in intern’al cricket. His life is another testament of what one can achieve through hardwork & will-power.More power to you young man,” Laxman wrote on Twitter.

Have a look at VVS Laxman’s Tweet:

As India ended Day 4 with 181/6, it was looking like England run through the Indian tail-enders and will win the game comfortably. But, thanks to Mohammad Shami (56*) and Jasprit Bumrah (34*) added 89* crucial runs which helped India get a lead of 271 runs.

With Bumrah, Shami and Ishant providing India with early breakthroughs, Siraj, who claimed four wickets in the first innings, continued his good form and removed Jos Buttler, Moeen Ali, Sam Curran and James Anderson and finished the game off.
