Former India cricketer Wasim Jaffer posted a meme on England all-rounder Sam Curran's recent statement on his IPL teammates, Shardul Thakur and Ravindra Jadeja. Curran is a part of the Chennai Super Kings (CSK) franchise, and he's currently playing the five-match Test series against India.

Curran said that Shardul and Jadeja are very nice guys but when it comes to the Test series, they will be his 'enemies'. “There are a couple of guys I got friendly with at the IPL, but come the series, they’ll obviously be enemies. They are really nice guys that I played with at Chennai and there’s a few I look forward to seeing,” he said as reported by ESPNcricinfo.

Jaffer posted a meme from the famous Hindi web series Mirzapur and showed how Curran bonds with his CSK teammates during IPL and the rest of the year. "Jadeja, Thakur, and Curran rest of the year #ENGvIND #IPL2021 #T20WC," he wrote. 

In the first innings, Curran remained unbeaten on 27 runs as England got bowled out for 183. Shardul picked up two wickets, while Jadeja remained wicket-less in the three overs he bowled. Jasprit Bumrah was the highest wicket-taker with four wickets.
