Former India cricketer Wasim Jaffer is quite famous on social media for his sarcastic jibes and funny tweets. Jaffer in his latest tweet posted a cryptic photo collage saying it was his Indian XI for the first Test against England on August 4.
The right-hand batsman posted 11 photos which after decoding gave away his team to take on Joe Root’s England at Trent Bridge in Nottingham. While selecting Rohit Sharma at the top of the order, he has selected Hrithik Roshan’s debut movie’s picture.
With Agarwal being ruled out of the first Test match, Jaffer has picked KL Rahul as the opener using Shahrukh Khan’s photo from one of his movies. He then went on to use the picture of Cavit Çetin Güner, the actor from the Turkish TV Series Erutrul Ghazi, to denote the Indian skipper Virat Kohli.
The 43-year-old then posted a photo of Ranveer Singh’s Khilji look denoting Ishant Sharma. Jaffer then funnily used the head coach Ravi Shastri’s playing picture. Overall, he picked R Ashwin as well along with two other pacers in Mohammed Shami and Jasprit Bumrah.
