Indian team checked into the hotel near the Ageas Bowl ground in Southampton | InstagramThe Indian team- both men and women- reached Southampton and checked into the Hilton Ageas Bowl hotel which overlooks the cricket ground which will host the ICC World Test Championship final later this month.

Both the teams were previously in quarantine in a Mumbai hotel along with the support staff and their families and traveled to London in a chartered plane and then got to Southampton.

Now the entire contingent will stay in quarantine for some days before they can start outdoor training on the ground which they can see from their hotel rooms.

India wicketkeeper Wriddhiman Saha shared a picture from his room's balcony after checking into the hotel. “That’s our view from the room balcony..Your thoughts?,” he posted on Instagram.

This led to his Sunrisers Hyderabad teammate David Warner quickly asking him if he was staying in room no. 318 of the hotel, going by the view. "Is that room 318?" David Warner asked with a few smileys.

Ageas Bowl will host the ICC World Test Championship final between India and New Zealand from June 18-22. The Indian men's contingent will be in the UK from June to September 14. The Men’s team will face England next in a series of five Tests.

The women’s will play a one-off Test, 3 ODIs and 3 T20Is against the England women’s team.
