The mighty Australians proved too good for the Team India in the ICC World Cup 2023 final, as Pat Cummins and his brigade dominated in all three departments to crush the hosts by six wickets at the jam-packed Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad.
Team India entered the CWC 2023 final unbeaten, but Australians had different plans, and of course, the luck was on their side, as they first won the toss, deciding to bowl first and restricted the Men in Blue to just 240 runs.

Then, Travis Head’s century and Marnus Labuschagne’s unbeaten fifty was enough for Australia to clinch their record sixth World Cup trophy, as Australia chased down the target in 43 overs, winning by 6 wickets.
After the heartbreaking defeat of Team India, Bollywood celebrities like Ajay Devgn, Ayushman Khurana, Sunil Shetty, Richa Chadha, Abhishek Bachhan, and Dia Mirza hailed the team’s efforts.
