CWC 2023: "Tough to stop India..."- Sourav Ganguly says Australia stands between them and World Cup trophy

Sourav Ganguly expressed his admiration for the formidable Indian cricket team, saying that the Men in Blue are currently looking smashing in the ongoing ICC Cricket World Cup 2023.

Ganguly, the former Indian captain and ex-BCCI President, extended his heartfelt wishes to the Indian cricket team, as they gear up for the World Cup 2023 final against Australia in Ahmedabad. The title clash will be played at Narendra Modi Stadium on November 19.

Well, reflecting on India's stellar performance throughout the tournament, Ganguly commended their exceptional outings and said that they never played such a brand of cricket at the mega event.

Ahead of the battle of titans on Sunday, the legendary India cricketer emphasized that if Team India continues to play the way they are playing at CWC 2023, then they will be a force to be reckoned with and nobody could stop their dominance.

Sourav Ganguly said: “India is looking smashing at the moment. I wish them all the best for Ahmedabad. India have played very well in the tournament, and just one match and Australia stand between them and the World Cup trophy.”

He added, “If India continue to play like how they have performed in the tournament so far, then it will be tough to stop them. It will be a good match as Australia has a good team as well.”
