Bollywood diva Anushka Sharma shared a special post for her husband Virat Kohli on Instagram after the dashing cricketer scripted history in the ICC Cricket World Cup 2023.
Kohli smashed a fabulous century in the first semifinal of the ongoing Cricket World Cup 2023 against New Zealand on November 15 at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai. With his 50th ODI ton, Kohli shattered Sachin Tendulkar’s long-standing record of most centuries in the format.
His knock also helped Team India put a total of 397/4 on the board, and they successfully defended the target against the Black Caps to qualify for the CWC 2023 Final at Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad on November 19.
Meanwhile, Anushka Sharma took to Instagram to share a heartwarming post for Virat. In her post, Anushka expressed her admiration for Kohli while praising his dedication to cricket.
Anushka wrote on her Insta story: “God is the best scriptwriter! Utterly grateful to him for blessing me with your love, and to watch you grow from strength to strength and achieve all that you have and will, being honest to yourself and to the sport always. You are truly God's child.”
The former Indian skipper is currently the leading run scorer in the CWC 2023 with 711 runs in 10 innings.
