CWC 2023: WATCH- Suryakumar Yadav hits Mumbai’s Marine Drive in disguise; Ravindra Jadeja fails to recognize him

Suryakumar Yadav | BCCIIndia will be playing their next ICC World Cup 2023 match in Mumbai and local boy Suryakumar Yadav decided to get a review of how the team is faring so far in the tournament from the people.

Suryakumar Yadav disguised himself as a camera person. He wore a full-sleeve shirt to cover his arms full of tattoos. He also wore a mask, a cap, and sunglasses to hide his face. And his first interaction was with teammate Ravindra Jadeja.

Surya’s guise worked so well that Jadeja was unable to recognize him, to begin with. He then visited the famous Marine Drive and interviewed people who shared their thoughts on how the Indian team was doing in the CWC 2023.

Suryakumar came across a fan who said that the batter needed to bat up the order to get more runs. The comments made the Indian batter laugh but somehow, he controlled his emotions as he couldn’t have revealed his identity.

The video was shared by the BCCI on social media and captioned: “Presenting Suryakumar Yadav in a never seen before avatar. What’s our Mr. 360 doing on the streets of Marine Drive.”

India is the only unbeaten side in the World Cup thus far, winning all six of their games till now. India has 12 points from these wins and is at the top of the points table. They have three more games to go and a win in any of these matches will confirm their berth in the semi-finals of the ICC World Cup 2023.

India plays Sri Lanka on November 2nd in Mumbai, South Africa on November 5th in Kolkata, and Netherlands on November 12th in Bengaluru.
