Netizens react hilariously as Mohammad Yousuf mixes up Bangalore and Bengaluru to come up with 'Bangloru'

The Babar Azam-led Pakistan side suffered a comprehensive 62-run defeat at the hands of Australia in Match 18 of the ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup 2023 at Chinnaswamy Stadium, Bengaluru on Friday (October 21).

Analyzing the dismal performance of Pakistan, Yousaf posted a tweet where he addressed Bengaluru and “Bangloru”, much to the amusement of the fans.

Yousaf’s unintentional mistake left the netizens in splits and the post also drew funny reactions.

Coming to the match, Pakistan conceded a mammoth 367/9 on the board as Australia’s opening duo of David Warner (163 off 124) and Mitchell Marsh (121 off 108) slammed dazzling centuries.

In reply, the Men in Green got off to a solid start as Imam-ul-Haq and Abdullah Shafique set the tone with an opening stand of 134 runs. However, other batters failed to capitalize on it and Pakistan’s innings folded for 305 in 45.3 overs.

With this defeat, Pakistan slipped to fifth position on the points table. They will next face Afghanistan in Chennai on Monday (October 23).
