Pakistani fans are getting behind Bangladesh in hopes of defeating India in their upcoming ICC World Cup 2023 match on October 19 in Pune. India is unbeaten in this tournament thus far, while Bangladesh has won one match and lost two.

India will be coming into this encounter having decimated Pakistan in Ahmedabad. Pakistan was bowled out for 191 runs despite Babar Azam’s 50 and then Rohit Sharma smashed 86 and Shreyas Iyer made 53* as India romped home with 7 wickets in hand and 117 balls to spare.

This was India’s 8th win over Pakistan in Cricket World Cups and Pakistani fans are still rattled with that humiliating loss in Ahmedabad. A Pakistani actress is hoping Bangladesh will avenge their defeat when they take on India on Thursday.

Seher Shinwari is known for making posts on social media against India, and has now made a unique declaration ahead of the India vs. Pakistan encounter in CWC 2023. She promised a Bangladeshi fan a dinner date if they defeated India on Thursday.

"InshAllah, my Bangali Bandu will avenge us in the next match. I will go to Dhaka and have a fish dinner date with Bangali boy if their team manages to beat India," Sehar posted on X.

Pakistan, on the other hand, will be preparing for the Australian challenge on the batting beauty wicket at the MA Chinnaswamy stadium in Bengaluru, where the two sides will clash on October 20.

While Pakistan is still rattled by their loss to India, Australia has some momentum as they registered their first win in the tournament over Sri Lanka.
