In an unexpected moment during the ICC Cricket World Cup 2023 match between India and Pakistan at Ahmedabad's Narendra Modi Stadium, Virat Kohli was seen sporting the wrong India jersey.

The high-octane India versus Pakistan match began with captain Rohit Sharma winning the toss and choosing to field first at the jam-packed Narendra Modi Stadium on Saturday (October 11).

However, a surprising sight caught the attention of the cricket fans, as Kohli came out wearing the wrong jersey against Pakistan at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad.

While the rest of the Indian cricket team players were seen in a jersey with the tri-color strips on the shoulders, Kohli was seen wearing the old kit with the three white stripes on both shoulders.

Kohli soon realized his mistake and went back into the dressing room to change into Team India’s CWC 2023 kit with the tricolor on both shoulders. This jersey mix-up caught the attention of fans and spectators, as the pictures went viral on social media.

Coming back to the match, Indian bowlers were on fire against Pakistan, as the Men in Green could manage only 191 runs in 42.5 overs. For India, Jasprit Bumrah, Mohammed Siraj, Ravindra Jadeja, and Kuldeep Yadav all snared two wickets.
