CWC 2023: WATCH- Virat Kohli sarcastically keeps time as Mohammad Rizwan takes his own while to take strike

Pakistan are batting first as India won the toss and opted to field.

Virat Kohli looked at an imaginary watch as Rizwan wasted time | XIndian cricketer Virat Kohli was at his sarcastic best as his side faced off against Pakistan in the ongoing ICC World Cup 2023 match at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad on October 14.

Rohit Sharma won the toss and chose to bowl first. Shubman Gill returned to the Indian playing XI in place of Ishan Kishan, while Pakistan came in unchanged.

Imam Ul Haq and Abdullah Shafique started positively adding 41 runs in the first 9 overs. But then Shafique was out LBW to Mohammed Siraj for 20 and Imam fell to Hardik Pandya for 36 runs.

After the fall of Imam's wicket, Mohammad Rizwan came in to bat and took his time before facing the ball. This visibly annoyed annoyed Virat Kohli, who was seen watching an imaginary watch on his wrist and suggesting to the umpires that Rizwan was purposefully wasting time.
