CWC 2023: Fans react to security breach at Chennai ground as Jarvo 69 invades the pitch, gets near Virat Kohli

Jarvo 69 or Daniel Jarvis is a YouTube prankster known for invading cricket fields.

Virat Kohli helping security escort Jarvo 69 out of Chepauk field | GettyIndia vs Australia ICC Cricket World Cup 2023 clash saw a pitch invasion from the infamous YouTuber Jarvo 69 or Daniel Jarvis, forcing Virat Kohli to step in and escort him out of the ground.

Jarvo69 is a notorious YouTube prankster who gained infamy on August 28, 2021, when he invaded the pitch during the second Test match between England and India. Dressed in full cricket gear, he managed to breach security and enter the field of play. This was seen as a huge issue discussed on social media.  

He again entered the field in the next Test match in Headingley, after Rohit Sharma got out this time while wearing full cricket attire. He was ultimately lifted out from the ground. On one occasion, he was seen wearing an Indian Test match uniform with "Jarvo" printed on the back and even bowled a ball before colliding with England batsman Jonny Bairstow.

His antics have led to him being banned from cricket grounds at this point, as pitch invasions were not considered an imprisonable offense.

Now he struck again as he invaded the pitch wearing an India jersey in the Chennai ground during the India vs. Australia World Cup 2023 tie. He even managed to get near Virat Kohli, who then helped officials to escort the prankster out of the field.

However, the reaction to this invasion by Jarvo69 was met with hilarious reactions as it was seen as a harmless prank, but some slammed the security breach.
