India will play Australia in Chennai on October 8 in their first Cricket World Cup match.

Previously India traveled to Guwahati and Thiruvananthapuram for warm-up games, which got rained out.

Ahead of the Australia match, the Indian team, fondly known as the ‘Men in Blue’ were seen in stark Orange colored training kits. India has experimented with different colored kits with red and grey used in the past. But in the last decade, the training kits have been one or another shade of blue.

However, this is the first time India has sported an orange color training gear. During the 2019 World Cup in England with the ICC making it mandatory to have a home and away kits, India took the field against the hosts wearing a saffron shade t-shirt and navy blue pants.

India has been wearing light blue colroed training kits since new kit partner Adidas came on board in June. Adidas also unveiled a new black colored traveling kit for the World Cup.

This orange kit is likely to be used during the World Cup as the black color is known to absorb more heat than the light colors, which could be a reason for the change of color.

However, the netizens were left scratching their heads after looking at the new Orange colored kits of the Indian team, which usually sports blue color.
