Ishan Kishan and Virat Kohli entertained after India's win

Indian pace bowlers put up a special performance in the Asia Cup 2023 final on Sunday (September 17), as India beat Sri Lanka by 10 wickets with 263 balls remaining to win the title for the 8th time.

Mohammed Siraj (6/21) and Hardik Pandya (3/3) destroyed Sri Lanka's batting to bowl out the co-hosts for just 50 in 15.2 overs, their second-lowest total in ODI cricket. Kusal Mendis was the top-scorer with 17, as five batters walked back to the pavilion without failing to score, including captain Dasun Shanaka.

India captain Rohit Sharma promoted Ishan Kishan to join Shubman Gill in pursue of the meagre 51-run target, which the young batters achieved without any fuss in just 6.1 overs. Siraj won the Player-of-the-Match award for his 6-wicket haul, while Kuldeep Yadav was named the Player-of-the-Tournament for his nine wickets.

After the victory as the Indian players waited for the post-match presentation ceremony to begin, Ishan Kishan was seen imitating Virat Kohli's funny walking style, which had gone viral when he brought out the drinks in India's previous Super-4 match against Bangladesh.

Tilak Varma, Shreyas Iyer, Shubman Gill, Hardik Pandya and Virat himself watched on as Kishan tried to match his walk, which left Shubman in splits as he hugged Virat failing to control his laughter.

The 34-year-old star batter then demonstrated to Kishan the correct walking style, as the wicketkeeper-batter hilariously gave it another go while Mohammed Siraj also joined the players who were enjoying the show on the sidelines.
