Pakistan skipper Babar Azam endured a failure in the Asia Cup 2023 Super-4 clash against India at R.Premadasa Stadium, Colombo on Monday (September 11).
Babar was undone by a peach of a delivery from India all-rounder Hardik Pandya during the 11th over of Pakistan’s chase.
It was a stunning in-swinger from Hardik as the ball pitched outside off and nipped in sharply to hit the top of Babar’s off-stump.
The Pakistan captain was left stunned by the swing as he made his way back to the pavilion after scoring 10 off 24 balls.

Earlier on the reserve, Virat Kohli and KL Rahul took the Pakistani bowling attack to the cleaners. Both of them slammed breathtaking centuries to help India rack up a mammoth 356/2 on the board.
While Kohli remained unbeaten on 122 off 94 balls (9 fours and 3 sixes), Rahul returned with 111 not out off 106 balls (12 fours and 2 sixes).
