WATCH: Bangladesh opener walks on fire as part of 'mind training' ahead of Asia Cup 2023

This continental tournament provides a great opportunity to the Asian sides to finalize their playing combination for the ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup 2023.

With less than two weeks left for the Asia Cup, players from the participating teams have intensified their training. However, Bangladesh opener Mohammad Naim Sheikh has literally chosen a 'fiery' path to mentally prepare himself for the marquee event.

In a video doing rounds on social media, Sheikh can be seen walking on fire as part of 'mind training' ahead of the Asia Cup.

The clip was shared by Saif Ahmed on 'X' with the caption, “Naim Sheikh working with a mind trainer ahead of Asia Cup.”

In the opening match of the Asia Cup 2023, Pakistan will take on Nepal in Multan. While four games of the competition will be played in Pakistan, the rest of the fixtures including all of India’s matches and the final will be held in Sri Lanka.

Bangladesh will open their campaign against Sri Lanka in Pallekele on August 31. The final of the tournament is scheduled to take place in Colombo on September 17.
