Asia Cup 2023: Ravi Shastri, Wasim Akram, Sanjay Manjrekar among others to feature in star-studded commentary panel

The 2023 edition of Asia Cup is all set to get underway on August 30.

The continental tournament is set to feature a talented group of seasoned commentators hailing from various countries.

The commentary panel includes former India head coach Ravi Shastri and Pakistan pace legends Wasim Akram and Waqar Younis. Gautam Gambhir, Harbhajan Singh, Sanjay Manjrekar, Andy Flower and Matthew Hayden are the other prominent names in the panel.

Former Sri Lanka opener Marvan Atapattu is also part of the commentary team, also featuring Irfan Pathan, Sanjay Bangar Aamer Sohail, Piyush Chawla, Mohammad Kaif, Bazid Khan among others.

The Asia Cup 2023 is all set to get underway on August 30 with Pakistan versus Nepal clash in Multan.

While four games of the marquee event will be played in Pakistan, the rest of the fixtures including all of India’s matches and the final will be held in Sri Lanka.
