Former South African captain AB de Villiers has congratulated his former RCB teammate and good friend Virat Kohli on scoring his 71st international century in an "epic" style on Instagram.
On Thursday, September 8, Kohli entertained the Dubai crowd by smashing his maiden T20I century, ending his almost three-year-long century drought in international cricket in a magical way against Afghanistan.
The dashing right-hander played an unbeaten knock of 122* off just 61 balls laced with 12 fours and six sixes to help India finish off the Asia Cup 2022 campaign on a high with a 101-run win in a Super Four match against Afghanistan on Wednesday in Dubai.
Following Kohli’s remarkable ton, wishes pour in for the batting superstar on social media from all across the world, but his friend AB de Villiers’ Instagram post caught everyone’s attention.
The Proteas great shared a picture of him sitting on a scooter on his Instagram handle, where he can be seen driving the scooter while the Indian star was in the sidecar, probably for a promotional shoot.
While Kohli replied to De Villiers' post by saying in the comment box: “Thanks biscuit. Love you” followed by another comment which reads: “Hahahahahahaha”.
On the other hand, Anushka wrote in the comment box: “Oh my god”.
