As India and Pakistan are now once again set to face each other in the ongoing Asia Cup 2022 on Sunday (September 4) in Dubai, Pakistani cricketers have started making some eye-catching remarks about the arch-rivals and their players.

Recently, Rashid Latif claimed that Virat Kohli isn’t an ideal player in T20I cricket, and now Mohammad Hafeez says that the cricketing world is pampering India because the BCCI is the highest-earning board in the world.

During a discussion on PTV Sports, a former Pakistani all-rounder called India the "laadla" of world cricket, thanks to BCCI’s power to rake in so much revenue.

Hafeez shared a clip from the show on his Twitter handle and captioned it by saying "Laadla" with a heart-eyes emoji. In the video, the former Pakistan captain can be heard saying: “I don't know a lot, but I definitely know that in our society, whoever is the earner is loved by everyone, is the most laadla (pampered), gets the most kisses from everyone.”

When the anchor on the show asked the former cricketer if India is laadla because they play so well or because they make more money, Hafeez once again said it was money that makes them laadla.

He added, “India is a revenue-making country. So even in bilateral series across the world, where they get sponsorship, they get a jackpot, it's hard to deny these things.”
