The much-anticipated clash between India and Pakistan will happen in Dubai on August 28, 2022. Both the teams have prepared well and it’s all about executing the plans on the field well and handling the pressure. 

Coming into the match, the Babar Azam-led side would be high on confidence, especially after their thumping win against India last year in the T20 World Cup 2021. The ‘Men in Green’ pounded the Rohit Sharma-led side by 10 wickets to register their first win over them in the World Cup tournaments. 

With the exciting match around the corner, skipper Babar gave an encouraging speech to his team members in their final practice session. He reminded his team of the crushing win over India last year and urged his team to play in the same way.

He also boosted the morale of his team and said that they should not make them feel the absence of Shaheen Afridi, who was ruled out of the Asia Cup. 

“Iss body language se khelna hai jaise humlog khelte aa rahe hai, jaise humlogo ne World Cup mai khela tha. Uss game ko yaad karo, peeche jaake yaad karo. Yaad karoge toh saare cheese yaad aa jayega, woh preparation yaad aa jayega. 

"Achi preparation wohi hogi jo aap idhr karte ho wohi udhr jaake apply hogi. Toh result zarur ayegi. Believe rakho. I know humhara main fast bowler nehi he, but uska kami mehsus mat hone dena, fast bowlers especially. Wish you all the best!” Babar Azam said.

The battle between India and Pakistan has always been the fiercest as both the teams have given their best and have left no stone unturned to defeat each other. Talking about Asia Cup, the Rohit-led side is leading the head-to-head record with a margin of 8-5.
