Indian batter Virat Kohli said that he loves playing cricket and he wants to make his team win at any cost. He added that he gives every inch of his energy on the field.
India’s match against Pakistan on Sunday (28th August) in Dubai will mark Kohli’s return to cricket after a short break. The former Indian skipper, who has been going through a tough phase with the bat, was rested after the tour of England.
India's Asia Cup opener will also be his 100th T20I game. Despite not being in form, the energy that he brings to the side is unmatchable and the kind of preparation he does before the game is one to applaud.

Kohli is leaving no stone unturned in his preparation for the Asia Cup. The right-hander has been batting for a longer time in nets and it is expected that he will return to form during the tournament. If that happens, India’s chances of winning the title will automatically increase.
Ahead of the game against Pakistan, Kohli talked about how he approaches his game while speaking in a video posted on BCCI’s Twitter account.
"I'm a person who wakes up and feels okay, let's see what the day has for me and be part of everything that I'm doing through the day with absolute presence and involvement and happiness. That's how it has always been," Kohli said.
"People ask me a lot - 'how do you do this on the field and carry on with so much intensity?' I just tell them that I love playing the game , I love the fact that I have so much to contribute every ball and I give every inch of my energy in the field," he added.
Kohli said that he aims to make his team win at any cost and he can do anything for that because he prepares himself like he will gasp for breath while walking off the field.
"For me, it never felt abnormal. People within the team ask me 'how do you keep up with it?' and I just say one simple thing that I want to make my team win at any cost and if that means I am gasping for breathe when I walk off the field so be it because that's the kind of preparation I go through to be able to play like that. So, that was not happening naturally and I had to push myself but I just didn't know it," he said.
