While fans and experts can't wait for the rivalry between the Asian giants India and Pakistan to resume this Sunday (August 28) in the Asia Cup 2022 in Dubai, the players on both sides have been exchanging pleasantries with each other at the training sessions.
The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) had shared a video clip on Twitter on Wednesday, where Virat Kohli was seen having a quick chat with Babar Azam, and on Thursday, Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) reciprocated with a clip of speedster Shaheen Shah Afridi meeting the Indian players at the ICC Academy ground.

Afridi, who is ruled out of the tournament with a knee injury, is still with the Pakistani team in Dubai as the team management wants to monitor his recovery hoping that he regains fitness soon ahead of the T20 World Cup 2022 in Australia in October.
In the clip shared by the PCB, Shaheen can be chatting to India's Yuzvendra Chahal, Virat Kohli, Rishabh Pant and KL Rahul, who enquired the pacer about his injury, while he wished them luck for the upcoming tournament. Pant was cheeky as usual and the duo was seen having a hearty laugh.
As the video progressed, former India spinner and current selector Sunil Joshi was seen reminiscing old times with Pakistan head coach Saqlain Mushtaq and batting coach Mohammad Yousuf.
The players have shared cordial relations with each other despite the long-standing political tensions that prevail between the two countries. India and Pakistan only play each other in multi-team events as the bilateral ties are suspended.
